Dunlin roost at Lytham.
Oystercatchers at Fairhaven.
Pretty quiet at the moment on the estuary. OK, so the Glossy Ibis is still around and there's plenty of Little Egrets but that's about it. A visit to Bank's Marsh at the weekend produced Yellow Wagtail, several infact - including some juv's. A few Avocets still over there and a Merlin too, but the Dunlin flock was just too mobile for close scrutiny. Otherwise there's been some good gatherings at high tide at Fairhaven, with several hundred Oystercatchers now.
