Post-Manu excursions this year included a day-trip to Machu Picchu (where we saw Inca Wren and Green & White Hummingbird as usual) before heading back to Lima and checking out some coastal marshes before flying home. We addded a fair few birds to the trip's tally including a number of Humboldt Current seabirds such as Inca Tern, Peruvian Thick-knee and this handsome Great Grebe.

PERU (Manu Sept 07): Great Grebe.
