Harpy Eagle, Pipeline Road, Panama May 2008.
Having heard our American friends at the tower waxing lyrical about a Harpy Eagle "seen two days in a row, just sitting there", it was nice to get it under the belt. This male was apparently sedated just after these photos were taken and transported to Belize as part of a Harpy Eagle reintroduction scheme. Let's hope it all goes well!
