Thought I'd pop out and take a look at the Conder Estuary
Black-necked Grebe at lunchtime today. Driving up the M6 is appeared to be clearing and on arrival at Conder Pool the rain stopped. Bloody miracle! Anyway, BNG was easily seen along with female
Goosander,
Spotted Redshank and
Greenshank. The grebe went to sleep so I drove round to Bodie Hill for a look over the Lune.

Not much going on here and with time slipping by I just got a couple of snaps of Sunderland Point across the Lune (it's not really on a slope) ..........
....... and Heysham Power Station. Nuff said.
