10 October: Disgusting weather wrecked any chances of good birding this morning. Tried our best though, mainly from the car, at Redkirk Point and Newbie before taking to the hides at Caerlaverock. Notable birds were few and far between: 57
Whoopers near Brow Well,
Peregrine Falcon, c. 200
Golden Plovers (no sign of Pec' Sand' with them) and the usual hordes of geese.
