On then to my favourite part of this Northern Ecuador tour: the west slope of the Andes. With several reserves within easy reach of Quito, these Choco cloud forests offer excellent birding opportunities. Today's birds included Moss-backed Tanager, Rose-faced Parrot, Choco Warbler, Choco Trogon and Uniform Treehunter.
