"Maria" the Giant Antpitta at Angel Paz's reserve.
Another great morning at Angel Paz's Antpitta reserve near Mindo. "Willy" the
Yellow-breasted Antpitta (above) finally showed after a lengthy wait but "Maria" (the
Giant Antpitta) appeared very quickly as usual. Otherwise it was a bit quiet on the reserve in the forest. No sign of the White-faced Nunbird as usual (will I ever see this bird?) but I suppose
Andean Cock-of-the-Rock at a lek is not to be sniffed at.
