
Spent a couple of hours on the estuary at Hundred End this afternoon going through the 12,000+
Pink-footed Geese on the NNR. I found this adult
Eurasian White-fronted Goose in one of the closer groups but 'bird of the day' was yet another
Lapland Bunting as I walked along the bottom of the seawall (didn't want to flush the geese) in the direction of Banks. Flew east towards HOM calling and was on its own, which was most unusual.
Great spotted Woodpecker,
Corn Bunting,
Merlin and 4
Grey Partridges made the notebook and I took the time to count the
Shelducks in the fields at Marsh Farm: 345.
