The Birds of Hesketh Out Marsh RSPB 2009.
The Hesketh Out Marsh (HOM) recording area covers the RSPB nature reserve and adjacent salt marsh south of the Ribble, land immediately behind the seawall west to Hundred End and east to the River Douglas. The recording area includes the fields inland to Shore Road.
In some cases WeBS data has been used in the species accounts with monthly peak counts included if appropriate. Hesketh Out Marsh RSPB reserve was officially opened in October 2009 so some species accounts are incomplete and lacking data. We feel sure that 2010 will be better!
